A and B checks are frequently done but C and D checks which are time consuming are done only every few years.

Engine maintenance is very important to an aircraft. Your aircraft has a specific engine type so you need a mechanic who specializes in this engine type. There are many things involved in engine work. It includes a comprehensive engine testing, removal and reinstallation, and troubleshooting. The aircraft’s auxiliary power unit or APU also needs regular check and maintenance. The APU powers the aircraft so that it can function properly but this is not propulsion. The mechanic should have the knowledge and proper training in this specific model of your APU.

These are not the only parts that need maintenance, there are other aircraft components that also need to be checked and repaired if necessary. The electronic systems or avionics are very important parts that has a great bearing on an aircraft’s performance.
